Shiai Magazine : What makes Kyokushinkai karate style particular from other mainstream karate style like shotokan or other martial arts system?
Kaicho David Farzinzad: Styles like shotokan and other 3 styles are considered to be non-contact styles, but what makes Kyokushin significant style from others, is that Kyokushin applies bear knuckle to bare body conditioning. That is what makes this style the first and last full contact style, which retains a sense of classic techniques and basic forms of karate. Another side; a significant part, is focused on fighting challenges and to win a fight. What makes it different from shotokan, shitoryu, gojryu, and wadoryu they're determination of fighting follows one rules for referring as well as a 50% of focus will be to demonstrating classic forms (kata) with the same referee and judges.

Kaicho David Farzinzad: There is no similarity to each other,in Karate sport, there is a sense of contract and very awkward and surprisings knock outs, but in real life fighting you are challenged to save you destiny and an attack will be unexpected. In sport karate practice can give you more awareness, how ever Kyokushin karate, which is a fighting karate, will give you more of an advantage to over come the challenges because of the of the hard techniques and receiving hard techniques.

Kaicho David Farzinzad: I would always hold myself to extreme expectations, and I always take kyokushin seriously. I never took practice for granted. I traveled to Japan many times and I did not see anything any more extreme then what I had already done, yet getting to practice with Sosai Mas Oyama and being around a great master like him was something that makes that memory historic in my mind.

Kaicho David Farzinzad: For me, I see everybody, all human beings in society united. There is no difference to me, weather it be African, Asian, Europe, or America, they all diverse to have the same respect and I would love to spread Kyokushin karate throughout the world, the way Sosai taught us with out changing, adding any funny inventions or losing any of it.
Shiai Magazine: Today many races, people and culture and especially in Africa want to promote their traditional, diaspora, hybrid and modern fighting systems? Do you think it is new evolution of martial arts each people promoting their fighting systems?
Kaicho David Farzinzad I think that diversity is always healthly for competition. At the end of the day, this is something positive and there is nothing wrong with it, as long as their morality and spirituality is solid, not in it for gaining publicity. I think every human being has a right to choose their own way, but are they holding that mentality fitting to the category of martial arts? we don't know until after evaluation.
Shiai Magazine: Do you think that Africa and especially African martial artists can succeed in martial arts cinema? Upcoming African action movies like “Tribe”, Live or die in Africa and Lost Brother “Waka-waka man” want to promote their own heroes for African people?
Kaicho David Farzinzad: Absolutely, to be successful you need be committed, not just for African but for any race.
Shiai Magazine: What advice can you give to African children who wants to succeed in life although life is very hard for him?
Kaicho David Farzinzad: African children and children on other continents in a similar situation, children belong to the situation and atmosphere that they live in. if they have a safe and decent situation it would be to left up to their personality on how they want to approach their commitment to society and that is deep and inside the individual, and again it has nothing to do with being African or any other race. People who dont concentrate on being successful in any situation, anywhere, will fail.
